REQUIRED FOR EVERYONE UNDER THE AGE OF 18 AT THE TIME OF CAMP: I am confirming that I am the legal parent/guardian of the camper and am authorizing them to attend Alabama Youth Camp 2024 and all of the above information is correct.

I confirm that I have permission from my pastor to attend youth camp this year. I understand that the youth committee may contact my pastor for verification.

Alabama Youth Camp 2024 - Camper Guidelines:

Youth Camp Cell Phone Policy: "Lights out" will be 45 minutes following the last
scheduled activity for the day, all cell phones will be powered down and collected by the floor
leader and stored in a safe place until morning. If a student violates this rule it will call for
immediate expulsion.

Students are never to take pictures or videos of other students while in the dorm setting. This
is due to the possible capture of inappropriate pictures, etc.

The following guidelines will ensure the safety of students and preserve a
Christian atmosphere.

1. Campers must present all necessary registration forms with all required signatures at
Registration.
a. All campers must register and reside on campus in the designated dorms.
2. No camper is permitted to leave the campgrounds for any reason other than a medical
emergency before check out on Friday without first securing written permission from their
parent/guardian and undergoing the release process (please see camp administrator for
this process).
3. All campers are expected to promptly attend and participate in all scheduled activities. A
student may be excused from the group only if it involves health or personal issues. This
must first be cleared with the head counselor as well as a camp administrator.
4. Only registered campers are allowed to participate in the youth camp activities. No
unregistered students or adults are allowed on campus (except on Monday evening and
Friday afternoon during check in/out times).
5. Students are required to vacate the premises at checkout time on Friday.
6. Students that have driven themselves to camp must surrender their keys to the staff upon
arrival. Students are not allowed to keep the keys to their vehicle if it is present on
Campus.
a. Any student found entering or attempting to leave in their vehicle after check-in will
be promptly sent to the Youth Camp Administrator for their immediate expulsion
and departure arrangements (Which will include an immediate call to their pastor
and their parents - no matter the time of day or night).
7. Campers are not allowed to "free roam" the University grounds. They are to always be in
supervised and designated areas where camp events or activities are being held.
8. Any student found leaving their dorms without their counselor's permission after their
counselor's permission after their counselor has initiated "lights out" will be promptly sent
to the Youth Camp Administrator for their immediate expulsion and departure
arrangements (Which will include an immediate call to their pastor and their parents - no
matter the time of day or night).
9. Appearance guidelines for registered campers and staff members:
a. General Guidelines:
i. Modesty must be observed in clothing at all times. Appearances should be
Godly.
ii. Jewelry is prohibited.
iii. Sleepwear is only to be worn inside the dorms.
iv. General hygiene practice and daily showers are encouraged.
v. Clothing logos or insignias that support anti-Christian values are not allowed.
b. For Females:
i. The hair should be kept neatly.
ii. Makeup is not allowed.
iii. All dresses and skirts must cover the knees.
iv. Pants, culottes, and shorts are not allowed.
v. All apparel must have sleeves.
vi. Necklines should be modest.
vii. Transparent or semi-transparent clothing is not allowed.
viii. Nail polish is prohibited on both fingers/toes.
c. For Males:
i. Pants must be full length. Shorts are not allowed. Leggings under shorts, do
not count as pants.
ii. All apparel must have sleeves.
iii. Hair should be trimmed nicely, and not covering the ears or collar.
iv. Guys must be clean-shaven.
10. No fighting (physically, or verbally). No rough play or wrestling between the students.
11. Anyone found physically or verbally bullying others will be expelled.
12. No inappropriate physical contact between students, or students and staff members.
Hugging, kissing, holding hands, and other acts of physical contact are prohibited.
a. The "6 inch space rule” applies to all students in every situation. This includes while
standing, sitting, or walking, and while praying in the altars.
b. Students are expected to keep their hands to themselves at all times. Students must
remain in visible, open areas at all times.
c. No unmarried couples shall be together without supervision while on campus.
i. If two students of the opposite sex are found together, alone (day or night) in
an area where there is not a supervised, scheduled activity, they will be
promptly sent to the Youth Camp Administrator for their immediate departure
arrangements (which will include an immediate call to their pastor and their
parents - no matter the time of day or night).
ii. Students are required to always be in odd numbered groups (ie-3,5,7). This is
to ensure that two students of the opposite sex are never found alone.
13. Profanity and/or obscene gestures or referrals will not be tolerated (whether from media
devices, or a student). All behavior and media should be as Christ-like as possible.
14. No dangerous articles such as guns, knives, lighters, fireworks, or other potentially
hazardous items are permitted.
a. Possession of these articles may result in immediate expulsion from camp.
b. It is solely the staff's discretion to determine whether an item is considered
dangerous or potentially dangerous.
15. No alcohol or tobacco in any form.
a. This policy includes but is not limited to electronic cigarettes and vaping products of
any kind.
b. Possession of these products will result in immediate expulsion.
16. Only prescription medication is allowed on campus. All medication (including over the
counter medications) must be registered with and submitted to the camp nurse. All
medication must be administered under his/her supervision.
17. No unauthorized handling of sound equipment, media, or musical instruments.
a. If you are not a part of the personnel involved in these areas, please remain off the
stage, and backstage areas.
18. No solicitation will be allowed other than that by the District Departments and guest
ministries. The Camp Administrator must approve all solicitations.
19. NO CAMPERS ARE PERMITTED TO BRING PERSONAL ELECTRONICS; this includes
televisions, DVD/CD players, computers, video games, gaming monitors, etc.
a. Any campers who bring the above items to camp will be required to turn them into
the camp office. They will receive them back on FRIDAY morning before departure.
NO EXCEPTIONS.
b. Campers bear SOLE responsibility for any lost or stolen electronics. For this reason,
we ask that you leave them at home. We will not be responsible for them.
20. Camp Administrators reserve the right to check all registered campers for head lice.
21. No skateboards, rip-stix, scooters, hoverboards, skates, heelys, bikes, or related items will
be allowed on campus.
22. Absolutely no prank materials allowed.
a. This includes but is not limited to: water guns, silly string, excessive amounts of
shaving cream, etc.
b. It is up to the counselor to deem whether materials were brought for intended
purposes or for pranks.
23. Any student found intentionally defacing, abusing, or damaging the host campsite property
or equipment will be billed according to the repair costs.
24. Any interactions, gestures, language, or other activities that don't represent the proper
behavior of a Christian lifestyle and are deemed inappropriate by the Camp Administrators
could result in suspension from this Youth Camp and future Youth Camps. It may also result in
personal contact of the parent/guardian and pastor of the camper found in violation.
25. Camp officials reserve the right to ask any individual who refuses to cooperate with any
aspect of the ALABAMA YOUTH CAMP policies to immediately leave the campus. If they are a
minor their parents/legal guardian will be required to pick them up.

I have read the above terms and signed my signature acknowledging any interactions, gestures, language or other activities that do not represent the proper behavior of a Christian lifestyle and are deemed inappropriate by the camp administrators and or camp staff could result in suspension from this youth camp and future youth camps and or personal contact of the parent/guardian and pastor of the camper found in violation.
